CT scans are considered advanced imaging for a reason! This piece of machinery circles around your pet, scanning them in all planes to reconstruct their anatomy and provide the best diagnostic results.
Our treatment center includes central recovery runs allowing us to keep a super close eye on every patient as they recover from anesthesia or sedation. Oxygen access is scattered throughout in case of emergency.
In our treatment room we have 4 preparation stations to ensure space between each patient and ample room to work with them. We selected the best monitoring equipment to help us have the best control over our patients under anesthesia or sedation.
Welcome to our OR's and our scrub station! Here is where the doctors ad team scrub up to ensure the highest sterility for your pets anesthetic procedure.
Welcome to OR1. This operating room is used primarily for our advanced orthopedic surgeries and includes an arthroscopic tower, fluoroscopy unit, heated table, a ventilator, and more.
Welcome to OR 2! This operating room includes two operating tables, one for orthopedics and one for soft-tissue surgeries. Both tables are heated and adjustable to stabilize our surgical patients.
Our large dog runs are glass in the front for visibility of our patients, but covered on the sides for patient privacy and to decrease stress levels. Big, cushy, and comfortable for your dogs while they hang out with us.
Each small kennel is individually temperature controlled, padded with this mats and blankets, and in a more private area to allow our small dogs and cats a quiter and less stressful atmosphere.
Our patient recovery runs, shorter in height to allow us to more easily access your patient during their post-operative period. They continue getting fluids, pain control, and continued vital checks until they are well recovered.
Russian River Veterinary Surgical Service (RRVSS) opened its doors in Santa Rosa, California on January 5, 2026, with a simple goal: to provide advanced veterinary surgical care in a setting that feels personal, compassionate, and supportive for both pets and their families. As a locally owned surgical and outpatient CT imaging center, RRVSS was founded on the belief that exceptional medicine and genuine client care should go hand in hand.
Our team is dedicated to helping pets return to comfortable, active lives through a combination of thorough evaluations, advanced orthopedic and soft tissue surgical care, rehabilitation, and physical therapy. We excel in procedures such as TPLO surgery, fracture repair, total hip replacement, arthroscopy-assisted surgery, intra-articular joint or spinal injections, and advanced diagnostic CT and X-ray imaging. Every patient receives an individualized treatment plan tailored to their specific needs, because no two pets—or families—are the same.
